I’m a Senior Technical Program Manager for GenAI Infrastructure Engineering at Netflix, in Engineering Operations. I write, I speak, and I ship things on the side.
What I do at Netflix
I support the internal Netflix GenAI Platform and lead the GenAI Builders Knowledge Series. For the past three years my focus has been the GenAI frontier at Netflix, aimed squarely at one question: how do engineers actually get faster because of these tools, rather than just adjacent to them.
I joined in October 2019. Before and alongside the GenAI work, I’ve worked across Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, Productivity Engineering, Engineering Operations, Developer Enablement, and Developer Education.
The through-line is enablement. Most of my work is some version of the same problem: a capability exists, and the people who would benefit from it either don’t know it’s there, don’t know how to use it, or can’t find the internal knowledge they’d need to try. Platforms, documentation, training programs, and internal tooling are all just different-shaped answers to that.

Beyond the day job
I wrote a book. GenAI Ready: Educate, Orchestrate, Accelerate is a playbook for organizations that bought the GenAI tools and are wondering why nothing changed. It covers strategic education and connecting people to the knowledge they already own.
I speak. I gave the keynote at the CISOA Technology Summit, hosted the Empowering Teams with AI track at QCon San Francisco 2025, and presented “Programming” GenAI into Developer Productivity at the Developer Productivity Engineering Summit with my colleague Eric Wendelin.
I build. Dog Genome is a puppy breeding sim with a real dominant-and-recessive genetics model, which I designed, built, illustrated, and balanced by myself. It’s coming soon to the App Store.
I write elsewhere. GenAI Secret Sauce is my newsletter on getting real value out of GenAI: practical, tested, no hype.
And I’m a member of Women Defining AI, where I’ve co-hosted community events at Netflix.
Jasmine the person
Geek: Gadgets are my thing. I carry a 20,000 mAh USB charger in my purse and can happily spend an entire weekend immersed in web development projects.
Celebrator: I go all out for every holiday and birthday, cherishing the opportunity to celebrate life’s milestones and accomplishments, no matter how small.
Animal lover: I adore my two Chihuahuas, who can sometimes act like little gremlins. They bring immense joy to my life, and I love pampering them in playful ways.
Positive attitude: I give everything 150% and always with a smile. If someone rains on my parade, we’ll have fun splashing in the puddles together.
Silly: My home is my playground, where I joyfully fill rooms with balloons, have glow stick wars, or dance around in an inflatable T-rex costume.
I studied at Harvard Extension School. The fastest way to reach me is LinkedIn.
